Body-shaming isn’t just something we do to others, it’s something we do to ourselves...all the time.
The words we say to ourselves, about ourselves, are powerful. Self-talk and body image are intricately woven together: what we feel, think, and say about the skin we’re in can dictate how we walk through the world, for better or worse.
BODY TALK is an interactive workshop by WANT and HELEN PHELAN STUDIO to help you develop a healthy and positive relationship with the skin you’re in. Through a combination of movement and mindful discussion, Katie Horwitch (WANT) and Helen Phelan (HPS) will guide you through a series of physical and written exercises to rework your limiting beliefs, shift your self-talk, boost your body confidence, and believe in your self-worth.
*If you can’t make it, no worries! A recording will be sent to attendees to replay or work through on their own!

Choosing your energetic exchange:
This workshop is designed to help people manage and learn from their negative self talk and body shaming, and the more people that have access to it, the greater collective healing we can all do.
When choosing your payment option, we kindly ask you to consider that the creators are two female identifying small business owners, and offerings like this are what sustains us financially. The goal of WANT and HPS for BODY TALK is to provide the space to address and the tools to learn, grow, and ultimately heal from negative body talk. To make this dream a reality, we’re counting on your integrity in choosing a fair exchange for our work planning, creating, and presenting workshops like this one. If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that life is always changing.
